“Cards that Sleigh” Competition Part Deux

We love design and a good competition. And so began the Cards that Sleigh Competition. We are welcoming the Christmas season by doing two very important things:

Making Cool things, and Giving them away.

So what’s the best way to do that? Downloadable Christmas cards, obviously. But we didn’t stop there. Creativity is made better only by friendly competition. So we created the first annual “CARDS THAT SLEIGH” competition.

Every Mabble employee has designed their very own creative Christmas card, specifically focusing on puns, jokes, or pop-culture. You, the masses, will vote on your favorites by downloading the card(s) or commenting on social media.

The card with the most Engagement wins.

Please download and delve out at will! Give them to your friends, family, butcher, or doorman! Each card has an option for at home or professional printing, and you can download and vote on multiple.

This card was inspired by a tune I hum often, George Michael’s magical, “Last Christmas.” With this song in mind and a pun in my heart, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work. I really believe in this card’s message. Over 2 billion Christmas cards are sent in the US each year, and over 3 billion are thrown away. If you care about the earth, you will vote for this card.

I don’t know about your family, but my family grew up cursing. You’d think we were raised at sea… by wolves… in a barn. I remember one Christmas, during my elementary school years, when I discovered the phrase “Holy Shi*t”. It became a verbal tick I would shout out whenever given the opportunity. One year we were talking about our Christmas plans I exclaimed “HOLY SH*T! IT’S CHRISTMAS!” to which someone retorted “Holy shi*t IS christmas”. This may not have been my first experience with wordplay, but it’s the first one I remember. Christmas is the holiest thing we do every year, and hot damn- it’s the sh*t.

A Christmas Story is the best Christmas movie of all time. If you can get through that one without a chuckle and a twinge of nostalgia then you might be a robot. But if you don’t have a cold, cold heart than you should probably vote for this card. I mean, c’mon, look at him! Ralphie’s face is just so downloadable.

When asked to design a Christmas card, I knew that I wanted my Christmas card to remind of the feeling I had, and every kid has, during the Christmas season. The watercolor bear and moose do exactly that! They remind of children’s books, but they are also just extremely cute!

Finally after 1000s of years of scientists fighting over whether the chicken or the egg come first, Mabble Media has uncovered the secret through a mysterious journey, to a unmapped island in the central pacific. There, a native women of the name Sora gave us a scroll containing the answers to all of life’s questions. This is the first release of many to come.
