Tactile Branding: Please Touch the Merchandise
Part of the Mabble Promise includes making work for our clients that is innovative, unique and purposeful. We enjoy asking how we can challenge ourselves further in these areas and ask ourselves how each project meets these marks. With that in mind, our next move is an exciting one:
We’re taking our clients’ branding into the third dimension.
And that’s where Logan comes in. With the addition of our newest team member comes tactile branding. Now, what is tactile branding you ask? Don’t worry, we are going to tell you.
Tactile Branding, aka sensory branding, aka including but not limited to interior design
Tactile branding is a type of marketing that appeals to all the senses in relation to the brand and uses the senses to relate with customers on an emotional level. Anyone who comes in contact with your brand should be captivated by all the thoughtful details that went in to each piece of branding. This means sitting down and brainstorming the best way to grab the attention of all five senses including sight, sound, smell, taste and especially touch.
EXAMPLES OF TACTILE BRANDING:

Functional Design
Signs + Signage
Decor + Lighting
Meet Logan, Tactile Brand Enthusiast
I grew up as the middle brother of three boys. I have two beautiful daughters (9 and 11), my wife and I have been married almost 17 years. We also have two dogs, a llama, a flock of chickens, and an emu. I like to build, fix, invent, and create. I also like napping. I enjoy working with wood, metal, acrylic, fabric, rainbows, you name it!
Now We Can Literally Build Your Brand
Logan is a long time local artist who has designed or helped with many projects that you might have seen around Reno, including the unique lighting fixtures that were in RAWBRY, Chomp, and the co-working space at The Basement, The Space Whale sculpture on Virginia St, and even our Mabble Spirit Animals. As the newest member of the Mabble team, he will be helping us launch a whole new side to our creative agency. Building a brand will now be something we can take more literal than ever.
While most companies are dealing with marketing tools that rely on sight, we are now able to take our client’s branding into the tactile realm. Things you can touch or move around in. Keep an eye out for all the cool stuff that is about to make its way in to our clients’ tool belt. We are eager to learn more about your goals and provide you with a branding strategy tailored to your business. Contact us today for a tactile branding consultation!
